I recovered this poem from my old mail box that I had sent to my elder brother. I had written this for the College Magazine, during my early graduation days at MITS, Rayagada, Odisha. That time I was struggling but my mind and heart were motivated. 🙂
Though I am posting it today Wednesday, 12th March, 2014. It deserve its original time. So, I am scheduling it to there. I am not a poet but that time tried hard to write it. And I can remember I was loving it. 🙂
I hope “This Candle in Wind” will make you laugh, make you understand a struggling situation, give you strength to bear out odds… Here I reproduce it below exactly what I had written; I know lots of mistake but it was me that time 😀 .
“A CANDLE IN THE WIND”
THERE IS A CANDLE IN THE WIND
WHICH TRIES TO GLAZE AGAINST DARK,
TO DO SOMETHING FOR HUMANKIND.
THERE IS A CANDLE IN THE WIND,
IT KNOWS HERE IS LOTS OF OBSTACLE,
BUT IT HAS TO CROSS EVERYTHING.
THERE IS A CANDLE IN THE WIND
EVERYTHING TRIES TO SUPPRESS HIM
AGAIN, IT BURNS TO OVER COME THE WIND.
THERE IS A CANDLE IN THE WIND,
WITH LOTS OF HOPE AND DREAM…
